Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
Quick take

"A bike that didn’t quite click as a rider — but still delivered great memories as a pillion and showed its versatility across different terrain"

Personal notes

This is one of those bikes that just didn’t click — and that’s okay Riding it felt uncomfortable and a bit disconnected, especially with the top-heavy feel and lack of feedback through the gears. It didn’t inspire confidence as a rider That said, as a pillion, it was a completely different experience. It was comfortable, capable, and part of some really great adventures — from dirt roads to exploring new places Sometimes a bike can still be special, even if it’s not your bike

What I loved
  • Seat height felt great for a shorter rider
  • Comfortable and enjoyable as a pillion
  • Versatile — handled dirt roads and different terrains
  • Tied to some really great riding memories
What felt challenging
  • Felt top heavy and less confidence-inspiring
  • Hard to feel gear changes — lacked feedback
  • Foot peg position didn’t feel natural
Who this bike suits
  • Riders who prefer a classic look and relaxed riding style
  • Those comfortable with a slightly different feel and setup
  • Riders who value versatility across different terrain
Who it might not suit
  • Riders wanting a strong connection and feedback from the bike
  • Those sensitive to top-heavy handling
  • Riders who want an instantly confidence-inspiring feel
