The Kawasaki Ninja 650 is one of those bikes that makes a lot of sense in the real world. It’s sporty enough to be fun, but comfortable enough that you can actually ride it every day without destroying your wrists or back.
What I loved
- comfy seating position
- reliable engine
- cheap-ish to maintain
- sounds good with an exhaust
- enough power to have fun without being ridiculous
- good commuter and weekend bike
What felt challenging
- suspension is fairly soft stock
- not as insane or exciting as a true supersport
- can feel a bit vibey at certain RPMs
- stock exhaust is pretty quiet
