Kawasaki Eliminator 500

"A forgiving, fun, and surprisingly capable first bike — light, nimble, and torquey, with enough performance to keep things exciting"
Personal notes
This bike proves you don’t need to go big to have fun As a first bike, it’s incredibly forgiving but still delivers enough power to keep things interesting. It feels light, responsive, and easy to ride — which builds confidence quickly After upgrading a few things like tyres, exhaust, and sprocket, it really came into its own and became an even better all-rounder It’s a great middle ground — not a full cruiser, not a sport bike — just a really enjoyable, versatile ride
- Extremely forgiving — perfect for a first-time rider
- Reliable — handled 18,000km in 12 months without issues
- Light and easy to throw around
- Nimble through corners with a really comfortable lean
- Strong torque — great off the line and fun to ride
- Comfortable seat — capable of 6+ hour days
- Great option if you don’t want a sports bike position but still want performance
- Sits nicely between cruiser and sport — doesn’t feel out of place anywhere
- Stock tyres lacked performance — noticeable improvement after upgrading
- Stock exhaust was bulky and heavy
- Slight roughness around 100km/h before gearing adjustment
- Beginner riders wanting something forgiving but still fun
- Riders who want torque without a full cruiser feel
- Those looking for a versatile bike for both short and long rides
- Riders wanting premium components straight out of the box
- Those chasing high-end performance or top-tier power
