Quick take

"Best Beginner Bike (in my opinion)"

Personal notes

It was my first bike and I did all the research I could. I found having a bigger cc bike better as that way I could keep up with my friends and also as I grew as a rider I could grow with the bike itself. I did drop it a few times as my leg muscles are not super strong. But it was easy to do a kickstand turn with. I also love that it’s more upright compared to other bikes which is super comfortable but also if you lean your body position more forward you can still enjoy that aggressive sportbike feeling (I now have an R7 and I’m missing that upright position). I also found it was super good for doing slow moves as the heavy weight kept it more stable compared to being flung around by a smaller bike. It also doesn’t scream like a small bike does on the highways. I rode that bike for two years until I crashed and would absolutely buy again as I felt so comfortable about everything to do with it. I did notice towards the end I was upskilling, I feel past the 500 which is why I bought a bigger bike but beforehand I wasn’t 100% ready to change yet. I did want to keep my cbr for a long time but then I crashed lol.

What I loved
